We take great joy in introducing our guests to the family-run Winery of “Douloufaki’s”, located in Dafnes village, no more than 22 Km away from Heraklion city, via a beautiful route that will give you the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the inner landscapes of Crete and region’s unique terroir.
During your visit to the winery, enjoy a six wine flight paired with a platter of locally sourced cheeses (optional) or with light lunch (optional). Learn about Cretan indigenous grapes and hear stories about the secrets behind local wine production.
Experience this unique flight of six estate-crafted wines at the cellar or under a shaded patio. The wine selection ranges from Cretan indigenous grapes, like “Vidiano” and “Liatiko”, to a variety of luscious international reds and whites. The winemaker produces many different labels, including barrel-fermented and amphora wines, following the tradition of years ago.
During your visit, you can be guided at the facilities of the winery and learn more about the wine production, the grape varieties and the Cretan vineyards.
